About the Library
The College has a library with rich collection and an attached reading room on the second floor of the Administrative Block for the B.Com students. Total books collection is 16082. The library is well-equipped with a sufficient number of text and reference books and journals. Our students are also access various e-resources like e-books, e-journals and other e-documents through our college website. There are various open access e-books portals like Directory of open access books, PDF Drive for e-books, openstax, IEE Open, Oapen Library and many more and more than 100 number of Open Access e-Journals for Business, Management, Economics and commerce. The college library and the reading room remain open from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays and from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturdays. After admission, the students are informed to communicate the library of the college for their Library Cards. Library rules are displayed on the notice board of the library. Students must observe the library rules strictly. Our library has been operational as partially automated since April 2023 with Integrated Library Management Software Koha. The various functions of library management, like the acquisition of books and journals, cataloguing, serialisation and Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) are integrated as accessible services. The library has computerised catalogue OPAC for online catalogue search. The search results provide bibliographic details of the books and other documentary materials, like periodicals and journals. The entire library premise is under CCTV surveillance as library provides open access.
The college has another library with an attached reading room in its extension campus for the BBA students. This library also has sufficient number of text and reference books and also has sufficient number of journals like Indian Journal of Marketing, Indian Journal of Finance, Prabandhan: Indian Journal of Management, Arthshastra Indian Journal of Economic and Research, Indian Journal of Research in Capital Market etc. Total books collections is 2331. This library remains open throughout the working hours of this extension campus, this library is well equipped with computers and internet facilities.

Rules and Regulations

Membership:
The following persons are eligible to become the member of the library:- All Bonafide students.
- Special reader may use the library without loan facilities with permission of the Principal.

Membership cards:
- Library card will be issued to a student only on the presentation of his/her pay slip on the condition that all college dues, including library deposit, have been cleared up to date.
- The library card is not transferable.
- In case the card is lost, the matter must be brought to the notice of the Librarian in written and duplicate card will be issued on payment of a fine Rs 50.

Loan facilities:
- Books from the college library will be issued only to regular students of the college.
- Book/books will be issued to the students only on the presentation of his/her library card which is no case of transferable.
- General students may avail one volume at a time and Honours student may avail two volumes at a time.
- Students may be allowed to keep the books upto a limit of 14 days but he/she may also renew the same after a period of 14 days.
- The intending borrowers for home should submit their requisition slip/s for books within working hour and book will be issued to them against such requisition.
- When a book is to be issued to a student, his/her library card along with the requisition slip for the book will be kept in the library against such issue, and the card will be given back to the student only on the return of the book.
- Rare and reference books and journals will not be issued out, and in no case these can be taken out of the library room.

Fine:
If books are not returned on the due date, fine of Re 1 will be charged for each day of delay.

Responsibility for the books issued:
- At the time of borrowing a book every member should examine it carefully and immediately bring to the notice of the staff working at the issue counter of any mutilation, defacement or damage found in the book otherwise the borrower will be responsible for any damage, defacement or mutilation detected at the time of return.
- If any member loses a book, he/she replace the book, in default he/she pay current market price of the book. If a book is one of the volume of a set the reader may be asked to replace the whole set.
- Students must deposit library card to the library at the time of leaving this college and obtain a clearance certificate.

Discipline:
Talking, sleeping, smoking or loitering in the library is not allowed.
- The librarian may recall any book from any member at any time even before the due date.
- The above rules are subject to additions and alternations from time to time and any alteration to the above rules will be notified through notice board.
